Dear Fashionistas,
I am just wild about Chicago designer Shannon Carney who studied jewelry design at Indiana University in Bloomington. Shannon then moved to Florence Italy for an apprenticeship and came up with the idea of making jewelry out of resin. She developed a technique to dye the resin by using drops of color by hand creating an appearance of rainbow colored gems. She connects her resin pieces with 18-karat yellow gold, piece by piece so they are flexible enough to hang flat around your neck. Shannon has been featured in Elle, Vogue, WWD and Wall Street Journal and is set to roll out in ten stores in the US this year. According to my sources, Shannon Carney's necklaces were a hit at Fashion Week. So keep an eye on this label my darlings.
Retail price range from $190.00 to $1590.00 and can be found on her website ShannonCarney.com or at MCKRY T. OWENS showroom at 8 E. Randolph Street.

Nicki
WOW! I love hearing about a artist in a different area. Great post, checked out her stuff and liked the colors and the ombre effect.
