Sir & Madame Urban-Chic and a Pinch of Vintage

Dear Fashionistas,

Urban-inspired, a hint of European flair and a splash of vintage, Sir & Madame has become one of my favorite places to shop in Chicago.  Located in Ukrainian Village at 935 North Damen Ave., this husband and wife duo Brian and Autumn Merritt know a thing or two about style.  Formally 'Solemates' in Lincoln Park, Sir & Madame focuses on street wear for the ultra-hip and we just can’t get enough of the mix of style elements they provide.

Carrying brands such as their own private label Sir & Madame, Red Wing Shoe Company, The Brooklyn Circus. Yana Handbags and Vintage Eyewear from Gucci and Carrera, I assure you that you can’t leave without something fabulous.  A few spring picks we just can’t live without:

1. Featured on Sir & Madam’s website the “Prose IV Patachou.” blouse is a contemporary but feminine piece. This stunning oversized cut out henley blouse is the perfect match for spring’s bold statements.  Pair with skinny jeans or leggings and amazing heels.
2. Best seller “Vintage Revival Amelia Necklace” has convinced all fashionistas that pearls are indeed a girl’s best friend. Try these stunning hand strung pearls featuring a cameo amongst vintage brass chains.  They compliment any ensemble urban or sophisticated.
