SAIC-School of Art Institute of Chicago

Dear Fashionistas,
The SAIC show is incredibly inspirational and fashion-forward.  This is where it all begins.   Right here in Chicago the process of becoming the next great designer begins at the SAIC show. Flaunting down the runway the Sophomore, Junior and Senior collections swished by with vibrant colors, intricate metallics and bundled knitwear.  Over 250 pieces shown in an hours time. Some of the pieces where pure couture and others you could wear right off the catwalk. The fashion mavens filled up the room with a who who's list of experts including the Rodarte sisters,  Jason Wu and Sally Singer, editor of The New York Times Style Magazine.   Chicago is becoming a great contender in fashion once again. I am just enthralled by the talent here.

Ta Ta,
