One of my favorite stores p.45 in Bucktown carries avant-garde designers that I just can't get enough of including some of the most talented Chicago designers.  But what I am gushing over now is this super hot Lister jacket by Abigail Glaum-Lathbury above made of 100% cotton with kin leather contrast.  On sale from $590.00 to $238.00! 

This is a steal and looking forward to seeing what other summer pieces I can score while boutiques are bringing in fall/winter 2011.

Dear Fashionistas,
Eco-friendly shoe designer located in Chicago has the city buzzing.  Annie Mohaupt is the artist/architect behind MOHOP.  Wooden shoes from re-purposed wood right here in Chicago area.  Do you want to know how comfortable they are?  So much that the girls at MOHOP wear them everyday-all day.  I gave them a try and didn't want to take them off either. Chicago Designer Anna Fong Dress and LaudiVidni Bag Rocks!

Dear Fashionistas,
Last night Fashionista Chicago covered the "Stars of Night" event at the Ritz Carlton. Ecstatic as I was to attend - my absolute thrill was to put on one of my favorite Chicago designer's pieces and shout it out to my followers and new friends.  Anna Fong created the dress by using  a brocade fabric that is extremely soft to the touch.  I loved the off shoulder effect with the detailed puffed shoulder on the opposite side.  The look was funk gone feminine.  I wore strappy patent leather shoes and topped it off with a LaudiVidni patent leather black and cream reptile handbag to match. The bag was perfect because it held my 32 mm camera and I still looked Über Chic !
